Publishing Apps
Sell your apps on the marketplace. Choose fixed price or auction, and decide whether to sell copies or transfer ownership.
Before You Start
Required: Set your marketplace display name in Settings before publishing. This is how buyers will see you.
You'll also want to set up Stripe Connect in the Seller Dashboard to receive payments.
Publishing Steps

Configure Template Details
Set the name, description, tags, and tech stack. Add a compelling description to attract buyers.

Choose Listing Type
Select Fixed Price for instant purchases or Auction for timed bidding.

Set Pricing
Choose free or paid. For auctions, set starting price and optional reserve price.

Choose Sale Type
Select Template (sell copies) or App (transfer ownership).

Publish
Review your listing and publish. A snapshot of your project files is created.
Listing Types
Fixed Price
- • Buyers purchase instantly
- • You set the exact price
- • Good for established prices
- • Optional max sales limit
Auction
- • Duration: 1, 3, 7, or 14 days
- • Set starting price
- • Optional reserve price
- • Highest bidder wins
Sale Types
Template (Code Copy)
Buyers get a copy of your code. You keep the original.
- • Sell unlimited copies (or set a limit)
- • Keep your original project
- • Update and resell new versions
- • Best for: starter kits, UI templates, common patterns
App (Ownership Transfer)
Complete transfer of the project. You lose access.
- • One-time sale only
- • Buyer becomes the owner
- • Project transfers completely
- • Best for: custom builds, unique apps, full products
Managing Your Listings
Update Published Templates
Push new versions of your template. Buyers can access updated versions.
Unpublish
Remove from marketplace. Existing buyers keep their access.
Cancel Auctions
Cancel active auctions only if no bids have been placed yet.
Seller Dashboard
Track your sales and manage listings from the Seller Dashboard:
- •Earnings — Total revenue and recent sales
- •Published Templates — Edit or unpublish listings
- •Active Auctions — Monitor bids and status
- •Stripe Connect — Set up payouts
Bulk Publishing
Have multiple projects to publish? Use the Bulk Publish wizard to configure and publish multiple templates at once with shared settings.
Tips for Sellers
- •Write clear descriptions explaining what's included
- •Use relevant tags to help buyers find your template
- •Price competitively — check similar templates
- •For auctions, set a reasonable starting price to attract bidders
